Our annual food fest - what a spread!

February 13th was our Lunar New Year 'bring-a-pot' feast. Imagine home-cooked goodness at your mum's table and multiply it twenty times, and you get the picture. The dads, mums, guys and gals among us braised, baked, boiled, fried, grilled, roasted, sautéed, stewed, steamed, stir-fried and simmered their way into our stomachs. From sweet to savoury, store-bought to home-cooked, Peranakan to Filipino: you name it, we had it. It was a great time for us all.

Emily (veteran coordinator of the event) and Tram (co-coordinator) express their grateful thanks to God and each one who made the event possible. A big thank you, too, for those who participated in the pre-feast programme: Lawrence and team (sound), Tram (projectionist), Murphy (video/photographer), Jennifer (worship), band (Anna Gan, Ariel, Jia Whei, Paul), worship assistants (Alethea, Anna Wong), Angelyn Bang(MC), Jeddave (erhu), Clarice Chong (playwright), Angeline Foo (skit coordinator), cast (Clara, Clarisse Tay, Nicole, Jessamae, Sean), tambourine team (Adeline, Cheryl, Chor Teow, Elaine, Jaycee, Lan Qien, Li Rong, Trina). Thanks, too, to Pastor John, Preacher I-Hui, Vincent and Vivian who assisted in our Christian version of Lo-hei!
